Located opposite the Visitors Centre, the Waxworks museum features in wax all the principal protagonists of the battle. The models, created in 1949 by artists from the Musée Grévin in Paris, include Napoleon, Wellington, Blücher, the Prince of Orange, Cambronne, etc. All are extremely lifelike in their colourful uniforms and are displayed against faithfully reconstructed backgrounds. Many original objects and documents are also shown, as well a the results of excavations of the battlefield.
Every scene, equipped with realia, is described via an audio comment in three languages.
